Simple Allergy Test

IWhile we are on the subject of food allergies. There is a simple way to tell what foods you are allergic to. I have found it very effective when I've used it, but usually I can figure out what bothers me because of my quick responses to food. It's called the pulse test. Check your pulse first thing in the AM before eating anything. After you have eaten food, take your pulse again. If you are not allergic to the food you have just eaten, your pulse should not have risen more than 2 or 3 beats a minute, even from a heavy meal. If your pulse has gone way up, you are probably allergic to the food you just ate. When I find I'm allergic to something I eat, I try to rotate that food and not eat it more than once every 5 days. This really can help a person who has many allegies manage their life without starving to death. Some further tips. Be sure that your pulse has gone back to normal before testing another food. This can take hours for some foods I'm allergic to. (Doing this test makes it really clear just how much foods we are allergic to are effecting our body). It's best to try 1 simple food at a time, an apple rather than a pizza. Also, testing just one food a day, first thing that you eat, is probably the best way to do this. My resting pulse is about 70 beats/minute. If I eat a steak it will go up to about 72 (not allergic). If I eat one mouthful of brown rice it will go to at least 100 beats/minute within 2 minutes of eating the rice (allergic big time!). There are also some foods which will raise my pulse rate about 10 beats/minute. The ones that raise my pulse by 2 or 3 beats/minute are foods I'm not allergic to, the ones that raise my pulse by about 10 are foods that I try to use only on a rotational basis (only once every 5 days), the ones that raise my pulse by 20 or 30 beats/minute are my big time allergies - best to avoid eating them at all.
